Cougar

Also known as "The Cat" elder sister of my much loved Mustangs! A muscle car for reasonably short peried of time before Mercury destroyed its reputation by converting it into a Pony car. Nope. Not good enough!!! tsk tsk...!

1969 and 1970 were probably the highest performing years for the Mercury brand as it produced the best line up of Cougars. The additions were soft top, horizontal bars on the grille (hot!!!) and center hood extension (again hot!!), spolier and 290 hp (216 kW) V8 engine to name a few.
